DJ Mustard releases new album “Perfect Ten”
DJ Mustard a symbol in Los Angeles.
The city of Los Angeles declared June 19 “Mustard Day,” in celebration of the producer’s success and dedication to the betterment of his community. The City Hall chambers were the location for the celebration, which honored Mustard along with city officials, family and more.
The ceremony also celebrated Mustard becoming the ambassador of Boys & Girls Club of Metro Los Angeles.
“I am truly excited to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Los Angeles,” Mustard said. “They are truly doing the important work to prepare youth to graduate from high school with a plan to support them in becoming the next generation of leaders in our community. Mentors, like my Uncle Tyrei, helped me see the possibilities of a career in music and production—I want to do the same for thousands of youth at the Clubs and help them fulfill their own personal dreams.”

The LA producer DJ Mustard released “Perfect Ten” in Colaboration with major artists such as Quavo, Future, Young Thug, Playboi Carti and Nipsey Hussle. This album contains only 10 songs, but already has a hit with “Pure Water”

Dijon Isaiah McFarlane (born June 5, 1990), known professionally as DJ Mustard, is an American record producer, DJ, record executive and hype man from Los Angeles, California. He is a collaborator of Compton-bred rapper YG, and has produced singles for hip hop and R&B artists since his entrance into mainstream music in 2011. Mustard’s production style has been described as an up-tempo, club oriented, catchy yet rudimentary melodic hip hop style.
Mustard started to make beat at 11 Years old in conection with Friends (YG…) “I started making beats for YG; he was one the first people to do my beats. I started with him, so for us to do a mixtape was easy. We created this dancing sound. I feel like we owed it to the streets and we’re not stopping.”.
